The point that Mr. Gingrich was evidently trying to make was that those who want to focus on Mitt Romney should know that Romney’s agenda is more in tune to what Jewish Democrats pay attention to and not what right-leaning Conservatives want to talk about. Betting that the media would give that “cheap-shot” of a campaign call the attention it didn’t deserve, Mr. Gingrich was painting his opponent as a lesser Republican than he. That’s the argument that Mr. Gingrich is hoping to win with – that he is the true Conservative. The former Speaker knew well when that call went out that the state would fall to Mr. Romney, but used it for national attention on his candidacy.
The threat of an Iranian nuclear launch has been eliminated by a per-emptive Israeli strike using Saudi airspace with permission. What remains is the threat of localized nuclear detonations from Iranian bombs that were smuggled into Israeli cities. Lew makes for an interesting choice for Mr. Obama, as he is one who has the respect of both sides. He comes with impressive credentials stemming from his days working for Democratic Congressman Joe Moakley and the late House Speaker Tip O’Neill. More recently, he was an executive at Citicorp where he ran a group that made alternative investments, such as hedge funds, credit swaps and other creative financial mechanisms that people such as the President say has hurt the economy.

Prior to his descent, G-d saw this happening and told Moses, “Saru Ma’Hair, Min HaDerech Asher Tzvitem – they have turned away quickly from the way that I commanded them,” as […]
The Battle for Libya Moammar Qaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam proclaimed that his father remained in charge and has the army’s support. He said that they will “fight until the last man, the last woman, the last bullet.” During the first comments following six days of demonstrations, he acknowledged that the Libyan army made mistakes during […]
Conventional wisdom and law, too, has dictated for so long that you cannot yell ‘Fire!’ in a crowded theater where there is no fire, and even when a fire sparks, there is an appropriate way to alert and manage the crowd. What we rarely have seen in routine United States society and particularly with the […]
By Michael D. Brown A museum in Loveland, Colorado (best known for stamping Valentine’s Day cards with their “Loveland” postmark) exhibited an Enrique Chagoya lithograph containing a picture of Jesus imposed on a female body with a man performing oral sex on the same figure. People were outraged claiming a double standard. Many were arguing […]
